Who are your clients?

Our founder, Dr. Fradkov, is distinguished by his exceptional work with gifted teenagers and highly intelligent adults. This includes successful business leaders and professionals whom he assists in elevating their performance and facilitating personal growth.

What sets your institute apart from other practices?

At the Advanced Psychology Institute, we believe that empathy, sincerity, and humor are fundamental to successful therapy. Our unique establishment combines clinical practice, training, and research, enabling us to offer personalized treatment plans grounded in scientific understanding.

Our methods are innovative and have been clinically proven to be highly effective.

We offer convenient and accessible telehealth services, making it easy for clients to receive care from the comfort of their own homes.

How does a therapy session differ from talking to a friend?

While friends and family are invaluable for support, a therapy session offers a distinct advantage due to its professional nature. Your therapist is a trained expert working solely for your benefit, akin to hiring a service like a plumber or landscaper. This professional relationship allows for candid and confidential discussions without the fear of judgment or damaging personal relationships, ensuring a focused approach to your specific challenges.

What makes therapy effective?

Therapy is a unique process tailored to each individual. Just as our skin protects us physically, psychological defense mechanisms safeguard our emotional well-being. However, sometimes, these mechanisms can create more challenges than they solve. A therapist’s role is to help clients understand their protective behaviors and develop more effective coping strategies. Think of a therapist as a mirror, reflecting aspects of yourself that are hard to see, enabling you to make adjustments that are more aligned with your goals and well-being.

Who should consider professional psychological help?

The misconception that psychological help is reserved for certain people is widespread. However, just like visiting a mechanic for car troubles or a doctor for physical ailments, seeking psychological help is appropriate when emotional or mental distress hinders your daily life. If you’re grappling with persistent issues like relationship problems, internal turmoil, or pervasive sadness, it’s not a sign of weakness to seek professional assistance. In fact, it’s a courageous and proactive step.

Is therapy only for those who can afford it?

Therapy is a vital investment in personal health and well-being. While financial considerations are real, we believe that prioritizing mental health is crucial. For those who value their psychological comfort and family well-being, finding resources for counseling becomes a feasible goal.

What are the costs associated with therapy?

The cost of therapy at our institute varies, and it is tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals. Treatment duration and frequency are also personalized.

Our team is trained in Message-Centered Psychology, an approach with proven efficacy in clinical settings.

Rates range from $120 to $400 per hour, depending on the therapist’s level of experience:

  • Head of Therapy: $400/hour
  • Senior Therapist: $180/hour

  • Life Coach: $100/hour
